Our pigs are fed on certified organic feed with occasional draff from our local brewery Two Thirsty Men and donations of apples.
These pigs were the first ever to have been butchered in our own croft butchery - it doesn't get much more local than that.
We only keep 100% pure native, rare breed Oxford Sandy and Black pigs.
They are pasture and woodland raised on land which has no inputs – that’s no pesticide, no herbicide, no fertiliser and no lime.
They are moved weekly onto fresh grass and their feed is supplemented with veg we grow organically on the croft.
They LOVE scratches….
